Business & Economics student trips to Barcelona

Historically, Barcelona’s commercial prestige was built on textile manufacturing, and although there is still a fashion and textile industry, it is now a city with a diverse portfolio of economic activity. This wide range of industrial sectors provides a significant contribution to the metropolitan, Catalonian, Spanish, European and international economies.

Barcelona’s diversity and importance gives Business and Economics students on an educational trip a superb insight into their subject.

Equity has carefully selected a number of excursions and itineraries which can be individually tailored to the specific study needs of each college or university trip.

At the Nutrexpa food processing factory students see a very different production line. They also learn how the company grew from a small concern in the 1940s to a major international brand.

Equity offer several other excursions including visits to the Barcelona Stock Exchange (full for rest of year) and the Bodegas Torres winery.
